How To Attain Economic Freedom In Multi-Level Marketing

By Andy G Smith

In this article you will learn how to create and implement a powerful system to build your Multi Level Marketing business offline. Although there is a lot of hype on the web today about building your Multi-level Marketing business on the internet, there is still huge possibility of building offline also. Network Marketing guru, 'Big Al' Schreider once said: "When everyone else is zigging, you should be zagging!"

In 2007 over 475, 000 people joined the direct selling business each and every month, leading to nearly 6 million people becoming associated with the industry in that year alone. Present Internet usage data suggest that more than 70% of North Americans and 25% of the world's population now have access to the web. This means two things: Firstly, MLM is becoming a massive trend in business today and , a massive proportion of people around the world are turning to the web to easily simplify everyday activities such as shopping, conducting research, along with networking and socialising. This is all great news for Internet Network Marketers! Knowing this, what better place to build your MLM business than on the internet? Furthermore, Multi Level Marketing is mostly a business of sharing information, both regarding products and home-based business opportunities, and the web was created with regards to sharing information (The Information Super-highway!).

Ideally your own personal sponsor will have a suitable offline system in place that will work for you and your team. But if not, what should your prospecting system actually begin with? Should you lead with your items, or your opportunity?

My advice is to lead with neither of these! My recommendation is to guide with the industry, not the items, or your opportunity! Why? Well, if everyone you speak to gains an understanding of how customers and distributors can both take advantage of Network Marketing, then you are a lot more likely to get them as a customer or business partner. If they do not join you then they'll still have a far more positive view of the market, which will raise your odds of getting referrals from them, or recruiting them at a later date.

By leading with the business you can also educate people about Multilevel Marketing even before you consider them for your opportunity. At this stage you're just sharing details about the industry to see if they are a fit for your business and your team. You will experience a lot less resistance and you may keep your posture as you are actually evaluating their suitability instead of pitching an opportunity. If an individual does not respond well to the industry then do not waste your time speaking with them about your business. Describe them that your business may not be right for them and move on! But, if they're responsive to the business, you may ask them if they would like to learn more about the MLM business that you're working on.

This subtle change in your approach may have a massive impact on the amount of time you waste speaking with uninterested potential customers, helping you to focus your time and energy on prospective customers who are serious about building an income with a Multi-level Marketing company. Everyone you speak to will want an additional stream of income, but not everybody will be willing to dedicate time and effort to building a Multi Level Marketing business, thus remember this while prospecting to avoid the time wasters and increase your conversion rates!
